A little about the wood types:
Oak (White Oak) is what they have been making barns with for hundreds of years. It’s a little light brown in color and is the hardest and heaviest of the woods. (This is our favorite)

Cedar (Spanish cedar) is a beautiful cedar that is medium brown in color and has white streaking at times. This too is a great outdoor wood.
